Hi, I'm Karen!!
In case we haven't met yet, my name is Karen Campbell. I'm the Founder of Awesome Art School. For nearly a decade, I've been a full-time multi-media artist, instructor, and author of 19 art instructional books!

STAGE 0: SUPPLIES
In this classroom, you'll find a number of brief lessons teaching you EVERYTHING YOU NEED to know about drawing supplies. Learn about drawing paper, mechanical pencils, pencil sets, erasers, sharpeners, you name it!
STAGE 1: THE PIXIE
After you've gathered some supplies, it's time to dig in- starting with LINE WEIGHT. This one technique can dramatically increase the sophistication of your drawings. Grab your black markers or fineliners & let's try a little zentangling!
STAGE 2: THE SPRITE
Now that you understand line weight, we're gonna take things one giant LEAP FORWARD by learning about THE VALUE SCALE and how you can use darks, lights and every shade of gray in-between to make your 2-D drawings look 3D!

Do I need any drawing experience?
Nope! The Fun Fab Drawing Club is made for everyone, regardless of skill level. You’ll develop a full skill set as you go through the Awesome Artist Accelerator. Just bring your passion for learning, your sense of FUN, and you'll do GREAT!
Do I need lots of supplies?
No. All you need to get started is a pencil & eraser! You're always welcome to use what you love most and already have on hand. I'll share links to recommendations to fit a variety of budgets in case you'd like try working in other mediums like alcohol markers, watercolor etc. for shading.
